Yritin kirjoittaa englanniksi, mutta ei mene spämmifiltteristä läpi. Moni LGBT-ihminen kokee, että aidosti ja autenttisesti omana itsenään eläminen vaatii myös julkisesti kaapista tulon ja on sen arvoista, vaikka joutuisi kokemaan homofobiaa. Esim. monet biseksuaalit tulevat ulos kaapista, jotkut julkkiksetkin, vaikka olisivat pitkäaikaisessa suhteeessa toiseen sukupuoleen, eikä "tarvetta" siis ole, koska menevät heteroina läpi. Monet biseksuaalit kokevat suuntautumisen olevan tärkeä osa sitä, keitä he ovat, ja siksi haluavat olla pois kaapista, vaikka päätyisivätkin seurustelemaan vain toisten sukupuolten kanssa.

Erityisesti bi-ihmisten näkökulma kosketti. Siltä kannalta kaapista tulosta puhutaan vielä vähemmän, joten nämä kuvaukset siitä, miksi yhtä lailla sen ilmaiseminen, tai ulostulo asian kanssa, on se sitten missä mittakaavassa tahansa, on kyllä merkityksellisiä.
Just siis tilanteessa, jossa se ei esim. suhdestatuksen tai suhteen puolesta ole "tarpeellista" tulla ulos, esim. toisen sukupuolen kanssa parisuhteessa ollessaan.

En oikein ymmärrä ajatusta, jostain "julkisesta ulostulosta". Miksi sellainen pitäisi tehdä etenkään niin kauan kun ei ole virallista kumppania rinnalla? Kun sellainen osuu kohdalle, ja suhde on vakaalla pohjalla, se muuttaa tilanteen täysin.
Ei kenenkään suuntautuminen kuulu meille muille millään lailla, ei edes julkkiksen suuntautuminen.

Kiitos palautteesta! Käytän kuvien tekemisessä tekoälyä (Midjourney), joten kaikista taiteellisista ansioista en voi ottaa kunniaa, mutta ei nuokaan ihan sormia napsauttamalla synny. Kirjoitan itse promptit, ja aika paljon joutuu niiden kanssa säätämään jotta oma visio toteutuisi, kasvot joutuu tekemään erikseen (AI ei sentään tunne K&Btä), ja muutenkin lopulliseen kuvaan teen aika paljon manuaalista viilausta Gimpillä. Dear all, I would like to inform you that I resigned and am saying goodbye to the journalist/host/editor function of the Planet 18 news show on Planet TV.
I've always admired individuals with high moral principles, but I want to put myself among them. In light of the persecution that we are making under the new editor in charge against the LGBTIQ+ community, which I belong to, I am stepping down as I would never apologize for participating in something that is against me and, ultimately, my rights.
Unfortunately, I no longer feel unaccepted and unappreciated in this team, and at the same time, the professional standards that Planet TV demands in the contract from me & colleagues, after all, they are also dictated by the journalism code, because of the new editorial policy, I can't even follow.
Considering that I really put my heart and soul into my work, you can believe me it's definitely not an easy move and saying goodbye with a heavy heart, but honestly at the end of the day it means more to me to sleep in peace and not in fear, part of the hate propaganda Never was and never will be.
I've always been an advocate of love and not hate. I've always strived to accept difference, try to understand and accept it, even if I don't belong to it. I’ve always sided with minorities, I’ve always defended human rights. All in all, because of my sexual orientation, I received insults, ridiculed, rejection and everything else many times, which is why I couldn't be honest neither to myself nor to my surroundings many times. And those days have passed by.
After getting over the cancer, which I believe I produced mostly due to the burden of fear of rejection and unacceptance of individuals who are close to me and also wider, I decided not to hide anymore and to fight for my happiness, no matter what the cost of all colors. In what way am I worthless, in what way are the other members of the rainbow minority that they wouldn’t deserve happiness and love? At what?!
I was extremely grateful to my coworkers for never making my sexual orientation a problem - even more so, they accepted me as theirs, loved me and I believe they love me immensely today. I believe they don't care about me leaving them and I believe that even if we part ways they will always have my back even when it comes to my/our rights. At least most of them, but unfortunately I can't claim that for some: in the past days I have also heard comments that I have to rethink a new editorial policy, because at the end of the day I have to pay my bills myself. This is true, but at what price?! Unfortunately, I don't have the strength or the heart to step in front of an audience at all costs. And not at the expense of betraying oneself.
All of you who have followed me/us know that I am first and foremost a simple farm boy who has always approached everyone, whether he is a minister, president or the simplest person: with respect and with a heart, whose advocate & proud representative I was and always will be. I was never one to spread hate, I was always on the side of love. And that's how it will stay no matter the price I'll have to pay for it.
I'm stepping away from the public for a while because the whole situation really hurt me, someday, somewhere when a new opportunity arises, especially where I'll be valued and respected, and I believe we'll see each other again. Good luck to everyone, and especially to us, fighters who care and will always be on the side of justice, acceptance, respect and love!"

Lady SLO, I'd be curious to hear how well-known he is in Slovenia? In the knowledge of the general public I mean, and was his orientation/identity a publicly known thing, or not that much?
I'm wondering if you are up for sharing your thoughts whether this is something that would stir up public discussion there, or are the people reading or knowing about it (why it happened) more in smaller amounts?
I'm also thinking if B will hear about it and what he will think about it. What a timing in relation to our discussion here!
