Joksut ilmeisesti selvitelleet vahvistinongelmia puoleenyöhön perjantaina ja Nace vielä aamuneljään jotain softaongelmaa. Tämän takia myös PB:n keikka jäi väliin, joskin Bojanista ja Krisistä on vahvistamaton havainto Tavan lähellä noin keskiyöllä perjantaina, mikä sopisi tähän aikajanaan kyllä.

En näe, että heillä olisi mitään pahoittelemista kun ei ollut heidän syynsä, lähinnä itse kuvittelisin, että olivat tympiintyneitä ja stressiylikierroksilla ja halusivat relata vähän kivassa seurassa ennen nukkumaanmenoa.

Komppaan tätä. Mun ajatus on, että off on nyt lähinnä tulkinnat tässä shippikuplassa. Ja shippareiden odotukset tälle kiertueelle. Tosin NT ja muukin info antoi kyllä odottaa, että sama meno jatkuisi, siksi ymmärrän hyvin pettymyksen ettei niin käynytkään.

Tää lienee nyt tietyn shipin lietsonnan loppu, mutta en tekis siitä mitään päätelmiä sen suhteen, miten asiat ja välit on yksityisesti. Uskon että oikein hyvin, kaikki info (anoppila, Kärtsä keikalla anopit ja kaverit mukana) viittaa siihen suhtaan. Bojči on adoptoitu paitsi Suomeen myös Kärtsän sukuun ja perheeseen.

Mietin myös, että keikan vire saattoi olla erilainen siksikin, että Bojan hyvin tiesi, ettei tiettyihin Kärtsäodotuksiin vastata, vaan käännetään kelkkaa isosti suhteessa NT:hen.

Mut en tiedä, mahtava keikka eilen, itse harkitsen menenkö tänäänkin kaikkia akuutteja terveysongelmia, univajetta ja ensi viikon työtehoa uhmaten. Mun strategia tän pienoisen pettymyksen ja isohkon muutoksen kanssa diilaamiseen on se, että pistän nyt shipin hetkeksi hyllylle ja enkä anna näiden murheiden vaikuttaa mun musahaippeihin. Se on sikäli helppoa, että mulla on tähänkin asti ollut pikkaisen eri lokero näille asioille. Tsemiä kaikille pettymyksen työstäjille, olkaa armollisia itsellenne.

Nuo kaksi uutta, törkeän hyvää biisiä jotka kuultiin, voivat hyvinkin olla osallisia tähän "muutokseen". Nimittäin molemmat voi kuulla/tulkita kertovan K:stä ja voi olla, että kertovatkin. Totta kai B tämän on ymmärtänyt, ja siinä kontekstissa K:n näkyvä mukana olo julkisesti olisi saattanut käydä kiusalliseksi molemmille. Olen aika varma, että kesän aikana nämä suhde asiat juteltiin enemmän kuin selväksi, eikä kummallekaan jäänyt huonoja fiiliksiä, niin kuin NT:llä nähtiin. Biisit kuitenkin kertovat ehkä niistä fiiliksistä, mitä B:llä oli ja taiteilija toki ammentaa sieltä diipeimmistä päästä aitoja tunteita, silloin yleensä syntyy hyvää materiaalia, niin kuin nytkin nähtiin.
Mutta uskon siis, että välit todellakin ovat kunnossa. Elämässä vain ei aina kaikki mene ihan just niin kuin haluaisi.

Sama täällä ja olo on nolo, kun olen niin pettynyt mulle tuntemattomien ihmisten suhteeseen. Mä oikeasti kuvittelin, että ollaan jonkun suuren muutoksen kynnyksellä. Sitten näin tyytyväisen näköisen pariskunnan poistumassa yhdessä joksujen keikalta ja fiilikset romahti samantien. Parasta vielä, ettei asia kuulu mulle mitenkään.

Mä ainakin uskon että noita ei oo tullut nyt ihan vaan siksi että kukaan ei vahingoissakaan erehtyis luulemaan Kn olevan lavalla ja ostavan siksi lippua, nyt on selkeesti kyse Joksujen kiertueesta & musiikista, Kn kanssa vietetty aika on haluttu tällä reissulla pitää suurimmalta osin yksityisenä. Ymmärrän että NTn jälkeen saattoi odotukset olla korkealla mutta nyt ei oo kuitenkaan ees vihjattu mitään kun Boitsukin sanoi siinä Viisukuppilan haastattelussa että K on mukana vaan "turistina" koska hän on lomalla.

 

Nuo kaksi uutta, törkeän hyvää biisiä jotka kuultiin, voivat hyvinkin olla osallisia tähän "muutokseen". Nimittäin molemmat voi kuulla/tulkita kertovan K:stä ja voi olla, että kertovatkin. Ostan tämän tulkinnan kyllä. Ja sit mietin että kaikkien näiden uusien vahvoja tunteita välittävien biisien vuoksi Kärpän mukana olo ja NT tyyppinen kemiaa ja jännitettä tihkuva häröily lavalla ei olis istunut keikkaan yhtään missään kohdassa.

Sen sijaan Hojan-häröily oli musta ihan mahtava vapauttava huumoripläjäys ja yksityiskohta, jossa voi nähdä uuteen aikakauteen siirtymisen symboliikkaa ilman että tarvitsee ihan kauheasti pinnistää. Viisukupla on nyt lopullisesti takana kaikkine ihanine ja toisaalta raastavine kokemuksineen. Nyt niistä pukkaa taidetta.

From my POV the gig seemed a bit like most Slovenian gigs this past season, in particular the ones where someone wasn't feeling fell (Ptuj, Celje). A bit reserved, no crazy antics. (remember Glasgow? They played and sounded amazing (from what I could tell from the live) as they always do, no matter how unwell they are or what goes technically wrong. They are true professionals. I loved Kris' outfit and B's as well (except the shoes), it looked comfortable which is what he said he wanted. Did Jan forget his clothes at the hotel or did he decide to play Balkan dad rockstar for a night? Curious what he's going to wear tonight.
To me, B looked anxious at the beginning. Even though he said he is relaxed and was smiling and joking, I could sense anxiety. Maybe it's just my imagination. The height of it was before EW, then he got better. The way the others seemed to me reminded me of Ptuj. I'm truly hoping it was all just because of the technical issues they had the night before, and not something else.

I can understand some reminiscing the gig in Tampere and how different this one felt. That one was a magical one and it will be hard to top it. The reality is that not all concerts (even if they are great) are magical. I've been at a number of Bon Jovi concert over the many years/decades, while all were fantastic, but only one of their concerts was "magical". Somehow all pieces just all fell together that one gig.

I'm also confused about the social media silence, not so much K's but the crew's. Neither Kiki, Vita or anybody else from the crew posted anything last night.

I love the new songs already. Such old ex-YU rock vibes. Excited to see them released.

All the whining on Twitter about the setlist is really hard to read. We all knew some songs were going to be cut, and no matter which one, somebody is not going to like it.

Finally, a little bit of speculation from my end about the lyrics.

Tämä on niin totta. Kulttuuritalolla ei pääse mitenkään Tavastian tunnelmaan. Minulle eilinen oli kyllä tunnelmaltaan paras Kulttuuritalon keikka ikinä yläkatsomosta käsin koettuna.

I used to be a big fan of Bon Jov (interestingly, they were also always particularly popular in Finland and I believe they also played at Kulttuuritalo back in 1983 or 1984!), but it's been over 20 years since I was last able to see them, so I don't really have memories of that.

I feel like "Šta bih ja" sounds way too personal to not be his own story. It has a completely different vibe from Bluza, which has quite generic lyrics, but SBJ is like a stab into the heart. Of course, it's possible it's not a current/recent story but an older one, though I believe it's about Jere.

Many people have pointed out the crew silence as a contributor to the general "off" vibes. Like someone said that maybe K is now in therapy and as a result has reduced his social media use, which is certainly possible, but that probably wouldn't affect the JO crew.

I was at the consert and for me the atmosphere was relaxed and happy, not at all reserved. B was nervous abt performing the new songs, like he told us, otherwise he was just happy abd cheerfull, told us a lot of jokes, and was jumping around the stage like a child. Tampere gig will hard (impossible) to top, the House of Culture being also totally different areena to perform.

People absolutely LOVED the new songs and let them hear it, which I think, they were particularly happy about. And In the end when they had finished the encore, people kept chanting and ablausing, nobody even started to move, and they did end up coming to the stage one one more time, which was just amazing.

In all, the gig was just really, really amazing. Atmosphere was amazing. B was divine. I just love these guys, hope they will be back soon.

That is my opinion too about Bojan. I was there and I sensed something, maybe anxioty. The show was so good but also somehow slow or stiff or something at first. And when Bojan said he feels relaxed, I think he said it to himself, he wanted feel relaxed. But after EW everything was better.

Would you say after EW things were just better or fully "normal" as in what you'd expect?

 

En ollut keikalla enkä esitä omaa mielipidettäni, mutta jännä miten sekä "oli hyvä, normaali, rento ja onnellinen meininki" ja "Bojanilla oli tavallista vaisumpi, ehkä jopa surumielinen fiilis" -kommentteja on kumpikin tullut sekä paikalla olleilta että liveä seuranneilta.

Itsehän olin Kärtsän Kaivarin keikalla, jossa oli todella hyvä ja iloinen meininki, mutta minulle näyttäytyi jokin hyvin vaivihkainen surumielisyys siellä taustalla, josta useimmat paikalla olleet eivät saaneet ollenkaan kiinni ja sanoivat minun kuvittelevan, mutta 1-2 palstalaista oli tehnyt saman havainnon. Ja ko. keikalla kellään ei siis ollut mitään shippilasi- tai muitakaan syitä kuvitella sitä sinne, kuten eilen on voitu ajatella, että nähdäänkö paniikkikohtausjännitystä tai Jereen liittyvää pettymystä, silloin ei ollut mitään sellaista.
