Whoa, I've finally caught up. I'll comment on B's disappearance later, first I'd like to say a few words about the Conorgate.
That article is a fact, but I wouldn't take it so literally. Correct me if I'm wrong but he says "I started helping them..." It's the "journalist" who says "band manager" in the article, not Conor. In my opinion, this overzealous writer just allowed himself/herself a little too much writer's freedom and caused all this drama.
The way I see it, JO is like a startup company. This means a group of passionate people who start working towards a common goal. At first, they all have other jobs and projects going on, and if the company really takes off, then they can continue on working just for the "startup". JO, at this point, is at a point, where this is the guys' only real job (sure, B does a few other things on the side sometimes). For everyone else, JO is not their full-time job. If you follow them on social media, you know that Matej (their "real" manager) has a company called Spontanzo, who does all kinds of things. Mark has his own company and also works on various stuff that has nothing to do with JO as well. He shares about this on his IG all the time. If we go back, G also had (and still does) a bunch of other clients, not just JO. Also, G was their press guy, but sure, just like it is in small teams, he also did some other things, for foreign gigs he did more than just press. Then Vita, the photographer, also works for various clients, ad campaigns, etc. The social manager lady has her popcakes/ice cream business. The merch lady works as a tour guide, their sound guy also works on other projects, and the list goes on and on. My point being: I seriously seriously doubt they are replacing Matej with Conor, or even adding him as "band manager" full time. It might just be a side project for him. Like Matej said in his post- Stožice post in other words, more or less, they are their own manager anyway. I'm guessing that C will do just what he says in the quote "help them [in UK/Ireland]", probably with some gigs, networking, press.
Also, I seriously seriously doubt JO would forget about Finland, the (only) country where they just received a gold record, and not tour there again because C is now helping them.
I have absolutely no idea how far do C's connections go, but I think it would be absolutely amazing if he could get some song by JO to appear on a TV series or movie soundtrack one day. (Heartstopper comes to mind, I think there's a lot of JO songs that fit like a glove there). And imagine if a song by JO could be the opening credits theme song of some new and upcoming British TV show? Now THAT would be an amazing promotion.
