Tämmöinen tutkimus tuli vastaan. Kyllä tuo on ainakin itseä mietityttänyt, että ei voi olla mahdollista että vauva selviäisi ahtaasta kanavasta kallojen luiden "nätisti" painuessa limittäin ilman mitään ongelmaa, onhan paine vauvan aivoihin niin valtava. Noh, eihän tuossakaan sanota, että heti olisi ongelmia luvassa, mutta on kuitenkin ensimmäisiä itselle vastaan tulleita selvityksiä siihen suuntaan, että synnytyskanavan läpi rusentuminen voi todella aiheuttaa suurempia/pienempiä vaurioita aivoille, jotka voivat selittää monia nykypäivänä ihmetyttäviä kehityshäiriöitä. Siis muitakin vaurioita kuin heti diagnosoidut ja havaitut hapenpuutteesta johtuvat vaivat.

Giving birth naturally increases the risk of minor brain haemorrhages in newborn babies, according to a study. Brain scans of babies aged between one and five weeks showed small ruptures in blood vessels in or around the brain are common, affecting one in four children born naturally.
Babies delivered by caesarean section showed no signs of even minor bleeding.
In most cases, the haemorrhages are harmless and heal naturally, but larger ruptures can affect brain development, leading to seizures, or problems with learning or coordination.
