Finish vappu food

What´s that? I want to suprise my man

 

BBQ and Koskenkorva.

 

Munkki, right? Kuka auttaa minä hyvä tehen? Anyone?

 

Buy donuts from Arnolds and sima drink from supermarket.

 

You can also buy tippaleipä, but it doesn't taste like anything.

 

Grilliruokaa, salaattia ja juomista.

 

Ranskalaiset perunat (=french fries), perunasalaatti (=potato salad) ja nakit (=frankfurters)

 

Can you bake? Make munkkis (NB. they are not donuts!) and/or tippaleipäs. I bet you can find recipes online, at least in Finnish, but if you can speak some it shouldn't be a problem.

I am going to make munkkis, although we don't celebrate vappu here in the USA. My husband loves homemade Finnish munkkis. He even said "actually, don't make them, because I will eat them all in one go".

I know very well that munkkis are not donuts, but we (and many others) eat donuts too.

You maybe know but some people don't, especially non-Finns (because they look very similar). That's why the clarification.
