Kyseessä on injektio, eisiis pilleri, mikä lampaalle syötetään. Aika raju, kun kaikki karva lähtee kerralla:
"One of the interesting projects that will unveiled at Agfair over the next few days will be the Bioclip, fleecing trial.
The trial began 28 days ago when sheep at two Far West Stations were injected with a special protein to make them lose their fleece netted up in the Bioclip jumper and put out to pasture.
Those sheep have now been brought back in and today is the day when the effectiveness of Bioclip de-fleecing in this country, is shown.
Yesterday, I joined Craig Trestrail from Landmark, at Nine Mile Station, to find out just how well Bioclip has performed.
"We were prepared to give it a go - as were the clients - and we were expecting anything to happen but to-date it hasn't, so it's worked out pretty well."
To show us the results of the trial, Anthony Sheppard, operations manager for Bioclip.
"The net is nylon and disposable and it doesn't fray if snagged - so contamination is very limited.
We pull the net over the sheep's head, like taking a jumper off.
This net's been on for four weeks and the animal's got plenty of re-growth to go back out into the paddock.
And no cuts on it which obviously means no attraction of flies.""
